The Rail 7 also comes with upgraded components, such as a 1x12 Shimano SLX/XT drive train, dropper post, powerful Shimano four-piston brakes, and Bontrager Line Comp 30 29er wheels that are already tubeless-ready, including sealant. But what sets it apart is its longest-range Bosch battery, allowing for more runs and more fun.
The new Bosch motor is smaller, lighter, and more efficient, providing a more natural pedalling experience with less drag when not in use. And with the Purion controller's Walk Assist and intelligent e-MTB mode, you can easily power up any terrain.
The Rail 7 is made with the same exclusive frame tech as Remedy and Slash, featuring Mino Link adjustable geometry, Straight Shot down tube for extra stiffness, and Active Braking Pivot (ABP). And with Trek's Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system, the battery is fully hidden in the frame for protection, is easy to remove without tools, and allows for water bottle mounting.
