Unlike most retailers, at Moose, we cover all warranties ourselves! Rather than jumping through multiple hoops like other retailers to get your product back to the original manufacturer, which could take weeks! 

Moose includes a warranty against original defects in material and workmanship from the date of receipt. This covers the cost of labour and parts required to maintain your e-scooter in proper working order for the warranty period.

We have different warrant lengths for different grades of e-scooters. Please see below:

Warranty length offered:

new condition: 6 months

mint condition: 6 months

good condition: 3 months

fair condition: 3 months

All grades of an e-bike (good, very good and excellent) have a six-month mechanical warranty, which covers the battery, motor, gears and braking system. We also include a twelve months warranty for the structural frame.

warranty exceptions

Please note that the following cases will void your e-scooter and e-bike warranty:

  1. The part which is submitted for repair or maintenance demonstrates signs of misuse or handling that is contrary to the instructions set out in the manual, included but not limited to inappropriate use and storage.

  2. Signs of crash damage may invalidate a warranty claim. 

  3. Incorrect maintenance. An electric scooter needs regular maintenance regarding checking components to charging the battery with the correct charger. Failure to check, will resort to damage by mis-use. 

  4. Signs of water damage that have affected the components of the e-scooter or e-bike. (excluding any waterproof xiaomis)

  5. The opening, disassembly or modification of the e-scooter or e-bike with non-licensed or non-original parts, including modifying or cracking the scooter's firmware, or by a non-licensed person will invalidate the warranty.

  6. Repair or alterations that someone else outside Moose has done

returning your e-scooter or e-bike

  • If you choose to return by post, you must ensure that the item is returned to us safely and securely. It is your responsibility, and Moose cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during posting. If you are not using one of our services above, we suggest you use a recorded postal/courier service.

  • If you have a problem with your e-bike or e-scooter, please get in touch with us through our chat with details of the issue you're experiencing. (The chat bubble is in the bottom left corner)

  • If you do not have the original box, a replacement scooter box can be purchased from us at a fee—of £ 25.00 for a scooter box or £30.00 for a bike box.

  • You can use packaging that you think will keep the e-scooter or e-bike safe and damage-free during transit. If we deem the packaging unsuitable, we will charge a replacement box fee for the journey home.

  • You must include in the box a copy of your name, order number and what the issue is for the return to be processed.

  • Once your e-scooter has arrived at our facilities, our team of in-house mechanics will start the assessment process.

  • We will then notify you of their findings and whether the e-scooter or e-bike can be repaired or exchanged. If you wish for a refund, the technicians will give us an update on the condition and performance of your product.

  • We consider this information when we calculate the final refund amount. Afterwards, we will ask you to confirm that you accept the refund terms.

  • Moose will refund the agreed monetary value to your original payment method within seven business days. Please be aware that direct refunds can take up to 2 - 5 business days to appear in your bank account.
